What do you know about the Egyptian Association?

In September 1954 The first general assembly consisted of 61 members met and elected the first Board of Directors

The association was registered at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.

The Egyptian Association applied to join the International Youth Hostels Federation in 1955 and has been approved to an Associate member of the International Youth Hostels Federation. This was the first time granted a temporary membership to an association after less than a year of its inception.

At the seventeenth International Conference held in Chrissadol city of Scotland, in 1956, the Conference agreed to grant full membership to the Egyptian Association.
